I am an oil painter based in London, UK.

Observation sits at the core of my practice, and I work primarily from life. I am drawn to the space between figuration and abstraction, particularly how geometric structures emerge from organic or ordinary subjects. As such, landscape, the human figure, and still life are all equally compelling to me.

I came to art as an adult, committing fully to painting in my thirties. My practice has developed through sustained independent studio study, engagement with artist groups such as London Plein Air Painters, and ongoing study through the education programmes of the North London Group.

You might find me working in the windy English countryside with a pochade box, or in the studio exploring geometry through still-life arrangements. At times, my practice also extends into playful self-portraiture and experimentation.
